Singpatong Sitnumnoi is a traditional Muay Thai training camp in Phuket and Bangkok, Thailand. Founded in 1971 by professional Muay Thai fighter Somsak Junlaka, the training camp is home to many foreign nationals who come to Thailand to learn Thai Boxing or Muay Thai.

Singpatong Sitnumnoi Training Camp religiously follows a training regimen which have, over the many years of its implementation, proven to be effective in providing the trainees with the necessary discipline and attitude that will prepare them for the rigorous training sessions designed for the trainees. The Muay Thai Training Camp or Gym welcomes fighters who are training to fight in Phuket and Bangkok. The Gym gives access to anyone who has a strong desire to learn the craft of professional Muay Thai fighting.

TRAINING SESSIONS
Training sessions are scheduled from Monday to Saturday, from morning 7:00 am to 10:00 am and in the afternoon 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Sunday is rest day for everyone.

Training will start at 7:00 am in the morning with running for an hour. By 8:00 am, training will begin and will finish at 10:00 am. The session will be repeated in the afternoon starting with one hour running at 4:00 pm followed by 2 hours training from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

WORKOUT – TRAINING PLAN
Training Schedule in the Morning:
7:00 am – 60 minutes / 8-10 km running.
8:00 am – Short stretching after running 5-10 minutes.
8:10 am – 3-5 rounds of 5 minutes pad training with instructor learning fighting techniques and protections. Don’t forget to drink water in the round breaks.
9:00 am – Clinch Training: Clinching with partners. Clinch throws, clinch attacks and techniques. 15 minutes.
9:15 am – Punching Bag: Kicks, punches, knees, kicks and elbows each 200 times.
9:45 am – Shadow Boxing of 10 minutes or 15 minutes (start slowly and increase speed).
10:00 am – Cool Down Stretching.

Training Schedule in the Afternoon/Evening:
4:00 pm – 60 minutes / 8-10 km running.
5:00 pm – Short stretching after running 5-10 minutes.
5:10 pm – 3-5 rounds of 5 minutes pad training with instructor learning fighting techniques and protections. Don’t forget to drink water in the round breaks.
6:00 pm – Clinch Training: Clinching with partners. Clinch throws, clinch attacks and techniques. 30 minutes.
6:30 am – Punching Bag: Kicks, punches, knees, kicks and elbows each 200 times.
7:00 pm – Shadow Boxing of 10 minutes or 15 minutes (start slowly and increase speed).
7:15 pm – Cool Down Stretching.

Private Lesson training can start in the morning 10:00 am to 12noon or in the afternoon 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm depends on your choice.

ACCOMODATION
In some instances, Singpatong Training Camp provides Thai style accommodation for a minimal fee. Those availing of such privilege must abide by the rules and regulations of the training camp, including, strict adherence to the training schedule prepared by Singpatong Gym.

The Training Camp doesn’t have available accomodation, on the other hand Singpatong Gym can assist in finding reasonable accommodation in and around the Gym location. Similarly, the Gym’s personnel are more than willing to assist foreigners training in the camp with their needs for motorbike rental, visa information, transportation to and from the airport or any other information about Phuket or Thailand.
